APIIC reopens hunt for 380-acre industrial park developer at Donakonda
Kurichedu Desk · 14 Mar 2026
The Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation Limited (APIIC) has issued a second-call Request for Proposal in March 2026 for the selection of a developer to design, build, operate and maintain a 380-acre industrial park at the Donakonda Industrial Cluster in Prakasam district, through a long-term development agreement.
This follows an earlier RFP issued in July 2025. The fact that APIIC has gone back to the market suggests the first round did not attract a qualified bidder — but it also confirms the project stays firmly on the state's priority list as one of the anchor nodes of the Vizag–Chennai Industrial Corridor (VCIC).
For Kurichedu, the implications are direct. Donakonda lies just 14 km away, with road and rail links that already pass through the town. A 380-acre park, once active, would re-rate land values along the Kurichedu–Donakonda corridor, expand local hiring catchment, and pull in ancillary commerce.
The document is hosted on apiic.in and is the most concrete near-term industrial signal for the region in 2026.
